Lucy M. McBride, M.D.
A native Washingtonian, Dr. McBride graduated from National Cathedral School, Princeton University, and Harvard Medical School with honors. She was also a 1996 Fulbright scholar at the University of Cambridge, UK, where she earned a Masters Degree in Pharmacology.
She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She then joined the Emergency Medicine faculty at Hopkins, seeing a diverse group of patients and illnesses. She practices general internal medicine, with special interests in the long-term management of hypertension, heart disease, lipid disorders, diabetes, and depression.
Dr. McBride is a member of the clinical staff at both Sibley Memorial and Georgetown University hospitals. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. She currently resides in the District of Columbia with her husband, an international trade attorney, and their three children.
