Kristin Thomas, M.D.

Dr. Thomas graduated with honors from the University of Michigan in 1990 and then completed her M.D. at Michigan in 1994. She finished residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1997 and then was appointed one of Hopkins first hospitalists in 1997, serving for one year in this faculty position. In 1998 she served a year on faculty at Hopkins as Chief Resident. She completed six months of fellowship training at Hopkins in Rheumatology in 1999 prior to moving to Washington D.C. where she joined Foxhall Internists, P.C., in December 1999. She is a Board Certified Internist.

Dr. Thomas enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a diverse patient population. She manages both acute and chronic medical problems and particularly appreciates patients with diagnostic dilemmas and complicated medical issues. She is on the clinical staff at Georgetown University Hospital and Sibley Memorial Hospital. She enjoys continuing medical education particularly in the area of cardiology via frequent discussions with her husband, a staff cardiologist at the National Naval Medical Center. They reside with their family in Maryland.
